Billy Graham Library Dedicated

The Billy Graham Library was dedicated today in North Carolina. The ceremony was attended by Carter, Clinton and Bush, sr. They lauded the evangelical minister as a great spiritual leader. Chick considers Graham's acceptance of all other religions as a sell out. (Graham agreed to send Catholics in search for spiritual guidence to Catholic priests, instead of telling them about a personal relationship with Christ.) See Chick's REVEREND WONDERFUL.

Malaysia won't let Christian convert

A three judge panel in Malaysia refuses to let a Muslim woman renounce Islam to become Christian. Malaysia officially allows freedom of religion, but like many Islamic states, that's in name only. Once you become Muslim, you give up your rights to ever change your mind. See Chick's MEN OF PEACE?

New Hampshire grants gays civil unions

New Hamshire joins five other "blue" states to grant civil unions for gays. So far, it's always been Democrat lawmakers to pass such measures, never with any public referendum. It will be interesting to see what impact it has on the next nationwide election. See Chick's SIN CITY.

Senators push to reward illegals with citizenship

Ignoring the anger of the voters, Senators continue to push forward on the new Amnesty for illegal voters. They keep saying it's not Amnesty, but the fact remains they are rewarding the law breakers with US Citizenship, and the illegals themselves call it Amnesty. If you want to stop from being railroaded by the Unions on the Left (who want more members), and the businesses on the right (who profit from illegal workers driving down wages), call your Senator at 202-224-3141 and demand they not legalize the 12 to 20 million who would be rewarded with citizenship under this bill. (Each is also allowed to bring in up to six more people to the USA, totalling 60 to 120 million.) The estimated cost of this amnesty by the Heritage Foundation (one of the few think tanks to calculate the cost) is 2.5 trillion in added social costs. This is the most important bill being debated in the last ten years, and they're trying to ram it though before the public can react. I'm not going to try to tie this into Chick tracts, this issue is too important to ignore for any of us. Don't complain to each other, complain to your Senator before it's too late!

Kid Destroys Sacred Sand Pile

Tibetan Monks spent two days pouring colored sand into a sacred sand pile and make a design, when a colored kid decided to play in it! The work of religious art was destroyed, but here's the ironic part-- if it had been a Christian work of art, they never would have allowed it at the public train station. Maybe the kid was retaliating for the double standard, haw-haw! See Chick's THE TRIAL.

Cheney's Lesbo Daughter Gives Birth

Vice President Dick Cheney's Lesbian daughter just gave birth to a child provided via artificial fertilization. Isn't that special? See Chick's SIN CITY.

Carter lobs another bombshell

Jimmy Carter, considered by many to be the worst president ever, recently did a talk show interview where he attempted to pass his mantle on to George Bush. He described the current administration as being "the worst in history." Carter is angry that Bush continues to support Israel and won't negotiate peace talks. See Chick's SKY LIGHTER.

Lesbo Teacher plays R gay film to 6th graders

A substitute 6th grade teacher in Chicago showed the gay R film, Brokeback Mountain to her class. The Lesbian teacher claimed she was trying to make them more accepting of homosexuals, since some in the class had used the word "gay" as an adjective like "nerd". Parents are outraged, but its unclear if anything can be done to change what the youngsters were exposed to. See Chick's SIN CITY.

Florida Fires Spare Chick Museum

For many days now, it's been smokey outside as fires rage North and East of Tallahassee (home of the Jack Chick Museum of Fine Art). You'll be relieved to know, however, that we are still at a safe distance from the fires and if they get too close, the Chick collection will be one of the first things evacuated. Several people were arrested today for starting the wild fires. See Chick's FIRE STARTER.

Jerry Falwell Dies

Rev. Jerry Falwell dies at the age of 73. He had a history of heart problems and apparently died of heart attack. Falwell was instrumental in establishing the Moral Majority and helped get Reagan elected. By all accounts, Falwell was a true believer who wasn't afraid to fight for his beliefs. Pope warns of religious exploitation

While visiting Brazil, the Pope urged Catholics to avoid mixing politics with religion, as promoted by leftist priest pushing "Liberation Theology" (claiming Jesus was a communist, rebel, activist, etc.). South America is famous for priests using religion to push social agendas with no true Biblical basis. Meanwhile, here in America, left wing Catholics attempt to do a similar stunt by promoting amnesty for illegal aliens. They hold demonstrations with signs reading "Mary was an Immigrant." Of course, Mary was NOT an immigrant: She was a native citizen of Israel. It was the ROMANS who invaded, occupied, and murdered her son who were immigrants (from Rome). Youe'd think the activists would at least read the Bible a little bit before trying to use it as a weapon to manipulate the masses... See Chick's FAT CATS.

Lesbos sue over child

A Virginia court rules that a Lesbian can't have sole custody of the child born via artificial insimination with another Lesbian. See Chick's SIN CITY.

The Church of England Condemns Iraq War

In an ongoing move to the left, the Church of England condemned the Iraq war as "immoral". The Church has become more and more political in the last few decades, practicing a social activist type of preaching that Chick calls "Liberation Theology". South American Catholic leaders were big into it in the 1970s and 1980s, but the current Vatican leadership has cracked down on it somewhat. The Church of England has no one to restrain them, however, and it will probably get much more political over time. See Chick's FAT CATS.

New Chick Tract: Fairy Tales

The latest Chick tract is called FAIRY TALES and deals with the PC myths taught to Children, and what happens when the discover those myths are fake. This is Chick's 198th original tract. #200 is just around the corner!

Pope Makes First Brazilian Saint

The Pope makes the first Brazilian Saint, a man who passed out pills 185 years ago that were nothing but prayers to Mary wrapped up tight like a medicine. Some of the people who got better claimed it was a miracle (and those who died didn't complain much). To celebrate the new saint, 10,000 more of the "prayer pills" were dispensed to eager Catholics (and hungry Malpractice lawyers). See Chick's THE DEATH COOKIE.

Al Sharpton Offends Mormans with On-Air Comment

Al Sharpton claims people "who really believe in God" should not vote for a Morman President, i.e. Mitt Romney. Then after people call him a bigot, he back tracks and claims he wasn't reffering to Romney... (as if their were any other Mormans running for the office.) This is the same Sharpton who ran Imus off the air for offensive speech. Guess WHO is offended matters more than WHY they're offended. See Chick's THE TRIAL.

President Carter goes Senile

In what is one of the more embarrassing indications of just how old former President Carter is, he told talk show host Mark Shamore that he considers himself an expert scholar on Christianity, and that Mormonism is a form of Christianity. Carter teaches Sunday school, and was referring to G.O.P Gov. Mitt Romney, a well known conservative. Unfortunately, Carter could not be more wrong about Mormonism. Although they recognize Jesus as a prophet (as do the Muslims), they also believe good Mormons become Gods and rule over their own planets. Their book of Mormon is based on the visions of Joseph Smith, who claimed to be visited by angels in the 1800s. Chick delves into more of their unusual beliefs in his tract, THE VISITORS.
