Members of Alamo church arrested for distributing pamphlets
(From November 10, 2008)
Six members of Tony Alamo Christian Ministries have been arrested for placing pamphlets on vehicles in Texarkana, Texas. Police said they ignored instructions to stop.
The church members were cited for violating a city ordinance that prohibits distributing handbills on unattended vehicles. The charge carries a maximum sentence of a $267 fine.
Texarkana police Sgt. Shawn Fitzgerald said the members have been released from custody.
[So, now it's illegal to distribute tracts. I guess the logic is you still have freedom of speech to say and write whatever you want, so long as nobody else hears or reads it. They sure didn't wait long after the election to start enforcing the New World Order! Watch out, Chick could be the next target!] See Chick's THE BEAST.
