Connecticut Judges Assume New Powers with Gay Marriage
Following the ever growing tactic of legistlating from the bench, liberal Supreme Court justices ruled on Oct. 10 to allow gay marriage in that state. Although gay marriage has been denied in every US election where it has been offered (even in recent California and Florida elections), gay activists have found collaboration amoung judicial activists who resent the majority of voters deciding the law. On Nov. 12th, Connecticut gays started to marry same sex couples as well. It remains to be seen how (and if) the public can reverse the high court's efforts to impose its vision on the state as a whole. One thing is for certain, the gay activists are hoping to wear down the public and get what they want any way they can, even if it undermines the democratic process. Will the public fight equally hard for what they believe in as well? See Chick's latest tract (in the book HOT TOPICS) HOME ALONE.
