Chickcomics.com welcomes all opinions from any religion or viewpoint in the common appreciation of Chick tracts. This blog, however, will highlight religious events and controversies that would be of special interest to regular Chick readers. You don't have to agree with them or each other, but if you read Chick tracts or Battlecry, you might expect these type stories to be addressed. (Sorry, no personal attacks allowed.) Texas Megachurch Refuses Gay Funeral

An Arlington megachurch canceled a memorial service for a Navy veteran 24 hours before it was to start because the deceased was gay. They changed their mind when they saw the pictures that the family wanted to put on display, which included homosexuals hugging and kissing. Although many mega churches do not speak out against homosexuality, this one supports the Biblical prohibition against it and condemns it as a sin. They still made the food for the 100 guests and offered to pay for the service elsewhere, but the sister is furious and attacking them in the media (and will probably try to to sue them). See Chick's DOOM TOWN.
