Chick Fan Club President Richard Lee was stranded in Matanuska Valley in Alaska in the dark ages of 1983 when he would have to wait WEEKS on end for Chick's materials to arrive in the mail all the way from Southern California. Receiving Chick's comics and tracts in that little post office box was THE highlight of any given week. If the internet existed back then, he would not have had cabin fever!
