Iran and Germany hold Holocaust conferences
Iran holds a conference on the Holocaust, giving controversial historians a chance to present evidence that the 6,000,000 figure of Jewish dead is exaggerated in order to benefit Israel. Jewish activists are outraged. Germany retaliates by holding a conference to prove the number of victims was not exaggerated in any way-- but the results of any such conference in Germany, Austria, or France would be illegal if they didn't comply with the official government version of the Holocaust. All three countries made it illegal to question the Holocaust in any way and have thrown writers and researchers in jail for raising the question. The most famous prisoner, David Irving, a controversial but accomplished historian on World War II, is currently serving a three year sentence in an Austrian jail because he didn't deny the Holocaust, but claimed he had documented ways in which it had been exaggerated. Chick believes the Holocaust was part of a Catholic Inquisition. See Chick's HOLOCAUST.
