Chickcomics.com welcomes all opinions from any religion or viewpoint in the common appreciation of Chick tracts. This blog, however, will highlight religious events and controversies that would be of special interest to regular Chick readers. You don't have to agree with them or each other, but if you read Chick tracts or Battlecry, you might expect these type stories to be addressed. (Sorry, no personal attacks allowed.) All main postings are from ChickComics.com writers and any responses are from the public

Christians United for Israel on NPR

As part of her regular Christian bashing series, Terry Gross brought on two critics of Christian Zionism for NPR's FRESH AIR radio series. Then she interviewed John Hagee, the founder of the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio. He explained his group, Christians United for Israel, a group that advocates Israel not giving up any of the annexed land back to the occupied natives (in exchange for peace). Hagee doesn't believe peace is possible, and those who divide Israel in any way will be cursed. He also expressed his beliefs that New Orleans brought on its own judgment by the Hurricane by planning a big Gay Pride parade on the day the flooding happened. Both beliefs are in line with what Chick preaches in his tracts. See Chick's DOOM TOWN.
