Obama Describes USA as "Largest Muslim Country"

President Obama gave a speech in Egypt today, where he said "if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world." He also stated that Israel has the right to exist, but so does the nation of Palestine. One critic was concerned about what he did NOT say: "With women being stoned, raped, abused, battered, mutilated, and slaughtered on a daily basis across the globe, violence that is so often perpetrated in the name of religion, the most our president can speak about is protecting their right to wear the hijab" said Peter Daou, former Internet advisor to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
