Obamma Infers Religion is "crutch"

Senator Obamma came under fire for remarks he made early Saturday, suggesting people clung to religion out of ignorance and spite. Clinton's campaign was quick to jump on the remarks saying they reveal Obamma is arrogant, and did everything they could to make sure the public was aware of him. Obamma told thw audience of supporters that people in small towns were bitter about the economy and "they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." The comments also undermine Obamma's image as true Christian, an image that took another hit lately when his minister's sermons were transcribed, showing racist and bigoted attitudes towards Jews and whites. See Chick's THE GREAT ONE.
